Poetry Corner: Diffused Flash

Trying not to be here
but I’m captured anyway,
fighting light and reflection
in an attempt to rework reality
but reality still wins

I was doing exercises from a book on contemplative photography, trying to capture images at first glance, and attempting to manually compensate for the fact that I don’t have a flash diffuser on my camera.
